The holidays are upon us and the students are excited to be spending special time with friends and families over the next few weeks. Here is a quick summary of what has been happening in class since our last post.
Language Arts
We have combined our study of nonfiction with our social studies unit as much as possible. We have been reading and taking notes, learning from various guests about the different regions of Indonesia. The students have really enjoyed these presentations and are becoming experts on the region. After the holidays we will be going on a walk in a local kampunt and visit Total for a presentation. To celebrate the end of the unit, we will be organizing a special presentation which you will be invited to attend. More information to follow after the holidays.

Math
Grade four students have finished their unit on fractions and will be starting a decimal unit after the holidays.
