What a great year!

Hello Parents

What a great fourth grade year! The children have all grown into lovely young adults who value learning and are socially responsible individuals. Thank you for all your support this year as we worked together to make these wonderful people stars both inside and outside the classroom.
I hope you all have a wonderful summer where ever your travels may be. All the best to the LeGassicks and Lawtons as they head off on their next adventure. PRIS will miss your support as parents and your children's wonderful classroom spirit.

Thank you all as well for the lovely gift of gems - it was very thoughtful of you and very much appreciated.

Signing out for this year,
Theresa

P.S. The students have made so many gains as readers over the year it is important that they maintain this progress. With ten weeks of holidays, I would recommend that students read a book per week so that would mean completing about ten books or more over the holidays. I realize weight can be an issue when traveling, so you may want to consider purchasing a kindle/e-reader. This way you could help your child download appropriate books and they can continue their reading momentum over the summer. Of course if have an English book store in your neighborhood that is always an option too.
On the math side of things, students have taken home their two math journals in which there are extra pages they could use as a review over the summer. Of course  they still have access to IXL.

Most importantly, have a wonderful summer!
