We have finished our focus unit on division yet will continue to review these skills throughout the year. Presently, we are working with fractions and how they can be represented as part of a set or whole. We are using a variety of manipulatives and many different games to enhance their understanding. Fraction word problems will also be highlighted as well as recognizing equivalent fractions, simplifying fractions and adding and subtracting simple fractions.
